The book consists of five units in the following order: “I Exist – My Family – My Food – My School – Animals.” Through studying these units, learners are able to introduce themselves, express their feelings towards family members, talk about their favorite food and school, and learn about some animals they encounter. Each unit includes a variety of activities with different objectives for learning Arabic language skills. These activities integrate various language skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) progressively, according to the learners’ age group, while creating a fun and enjoyable learning atmosphere. The Grade 1 book also stands out by presenting the Arabic alphabet with short and long vowel marks to develop the learner’s auditory awareness. Additionally, Arabic numbers are introduced through innovative learning experiences, and priority is given to the most commonly used words.
