The intermediate level series aims to provide learners with a deeper understanding of spoken and written Arabic language. It focuses on comprehension skills, enhancing the learners’ linguistic proficiency, and presenting cultural aspects in essential life situations. The series follows the latest methods and standards used in teaching Arabic as a second language.
The book consists of five units in the following order: “Welcome to My Country,” “With Friends,” “Bees and Ants,” “To the Museum,” and “Grandfather’s Tales.” Throughout these units, learners are able to mention their country’s capital and its famous landmarks, acquire basic guidelines for public places like mosques and libraries, appreciate the creations of Allah, and share personal experiences using organized steps. Furthermore, they gain knowledge about archaeological sites, and learn about virtuous qualities through engaging and captivating stories. Each unit includes a variety of activities that integrate different language skills (listening, reading, speaking, and writing) in a progressive and age-appropriate manner, creating an enjoyable and fun learning experience. Each unit concludes with an educational game that reinforces the learned content.
